How to make the Ozil goal AI video
- 011
Add one photo
One adult, alone, in good light, wearing what they should score in. Waist-up or full length works better than a tight face crop, and a photo taken by a friend beats a selfie.
- 022
Press Make my Ozil goal
Confirm the person in the photo is you or has said yes, then press the button. No prompt to write and nothing to set up; you can leave the page while your Ozil goal AI clip renders.
- 033
Download and post
Your vertical clip lands in My videos in a few minutes. Post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts with a trending sound on top, put who scored in the caption, and switch on the AI-generated label.
Before you upload
VAR check your photo
For the Ozil goal AI, the photo decides two things: whether the face is yours and whether the outfit is funny. Four checks for a goal that stands. Everyday clothes beat sportswear: the further the outfit is from a football kit, the better the joke lands. The AI only copies what it can see, so a face in shadow or an outfit cut off at the chest is exactly what comes back on the pitch.
Goal
- One adult, alone in the photo
- Face clear, looking roughly at the camera
- Outfit visible: waist-up or full length
- Daylight or a bright room
No goal
- Sunglasses, masks or caps over the eyes
- Group photos or a small face far away
- A plain green or white sports top (it reads as a kit)
- Anyone who has not agreed, anyone famous, any child
Who to put on the ball
Grandma in her cardigan
Someone who has never kicked a ball, taking the keeper on as if it were nothing. Film her face when she sees it.
The chef in whites
Apron, hat and kitchen clogs: a photo from the pass, then a finish from the 87th minute.
Dad in his work suit
Shirt, tie and polished shoes, with two sliding defenders left behind on the line.
The bride or groom
A solo shot from the big day, ready for the screen at the reception.
Pyjamas and slippers
The more off-duty the outfit, the funnier the calm walk-in looks.
A work uniform
Builders, nurses, delivery drivers: a uniform reads instantly on a football pitch.
Why this one
Why make it with this Ozil goal AI generator
The real broadcast angle
Your clip follows the 2016 broadcast shot by shot: the camera height, the keeper rush, both slides. Not a lookalike scene, the actual sequence with you in it.
Your clothes are the joke
You score in the pyjamas, suit or apron from your photo. The AI keeps your outfit, so the cardigan against one of the calmest goals of the decade does the work.
Ready for your feed
Vertical 9:16 with the roar of the stand and no music, so a trending sound drops straight on top for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
One photo, one button
No app to install and no prompt to write. Add a photo on your phone, press Make my Ozil goal, and the whole sequence is already directed for you.
Photo gone at full time
Your photo is deleted the moment your video is ready. We keep the clip for you to download, never the photo.
Missed? Credits come back
If a render fails, the credits return to your balance on their own. You only pay for goals that go in.
The trend
What is the Ozil goal AI trend?
The Ozil goal AI trend restages the late winner Mesut Özil scored for Arsenal at Ludogorets in the Champions League on 1 November 2016. Arsenal had been two goals down early in Sofia and had pulled level when, in the 87th minute, a long ball dropped over the defence. The keeper rushed out, the ball was lifted over him, two defenders slid past on the line and Özil walked it into the empty net to make it 3–2. In the AI version the player on the ball is whoever is in the photo, in their own clothes.
The clips spread on TikTok and Reels in October 2026 under #ozilaigoal and #ozilbounce. The joke is the contrast: a grandad in a cardigan, a chef in whites or a friend in a suit pulling off one of the calmest goals of the decade, as if it were nothing. Families film the reaction when grandma sees herself score, five-a-side teams make one for every player, and couples trade goals. Some post it side by side with the 2016 replay; others cut straight to the face of the person who just scored.
Most people make it with an editing template that pastes a face onto old footage, or with long prompts that never get the defenders right. This Ozil goal AI generator does it from one photo: the sequence is already directed, and the whole scene is generated new around your scorer.
We are not affiliated with the player or any club, and nothing from the real match broadcast is used.

Ozil goal AI: questions
What if my video does not look like me?
+
Likeness comes mostly from the photo: one person, face clear and well lit, looking roughly at the camera, waist-up or full length. A sharp photo taken by a friend works better than a filtered selfie. The keeper, the defenders and the stand are generated new each time, so no two Ozil goal AI clips look exactly alike, but the moves and the angle always follow the original.
Can two people be in one video?
+
No. The sequence has one player on the ball, so each video takes one photo of one person. For a couple or a team, make one each and post them together. Crop a couple photo down to one person first, so the AI knows whose face goes on the ball.
How long does it take, and is there a watermark?
+
Usually 3 to 5 minutes. There is no watermark from us. You can close the page; the clip waits in My videos. If a render runs long, it is finished in the background, and if it fails the credits come back on their own.
Can I post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts?
+
Yes. The clip is vertical 9:16 with stadium sound and no music, so a trending sound fits on top. Download your Ozil goal AI clip from My videos on your phone and upload it straight from the camera roll. Switch on the AI-generated label when you post.
Can I pick a different goal or celebration?
+
No. Every clip follows the 2016 goal shot by shot, because that sequence is the trend people recognise. What makes yours different is the person and the outfit in your photo.
Is this the real Ozil goal footage?
+
No. We are not affiliated with Mesut Özil, Arsenal or any club, league or broadcaster, and no match footage is used. Every Ozil goal AI clip is generated new.
Can I use a photo of my dad, my grandma or a friend?
+
Yes, if they are adults and they have agreed. No children, no public figures, and nobody who would not want to be in it. A photo of them standing or sitting upright, with the outfit in view, gives the best run at goal.
What happens to my photo and my video?
+
The photo is used only to make your video and is deleted as soon as the video is finished or the render fails, which is why the photo box is empty when you come back: to make another Ozil goal AI clip, with the same person or someone new, add the photo again. A photo you upload but never use is deleted within 24 hours. The video stays in My videos for you to download and is not shown anywhere on this site. We never use either to identify anyone or to train models.
